Debian Xfce

The machine I will use is an old Toshiba laptop with only 256MB of memory.

First I thought about using Ubuntu because it recognized my wireless card from my other Dell computer. Ubuntu did not recognize the network card on my Toshiba and was very slow.

Debian/GNOME was faster so I decided to go with Debian but Xfce as the graphical desktop because I want to try it.

Setting up wireless LAMP server

I have been playing with “Linux” lately and now I want to create a LAMP server at home.

I also want it to use the wireless card to avoid another wire running through the house.
